Bail Enforcement Agent (BEA) Training Class
This class is required in order to obtain the State of Connecticut Bail Enforcement Agent Certification. The class includes:
- 20 hour criminal justice portion
- Path Handcuffing Certification
- OCAT Pepper Spray Certification
- Preregistration is required
- $450
Gold Card Firearms Training Class
The Gold Card certification allows BEAs and bondsmen to carry a firearm while working. The class is 8 hours long.
- Preregistration is required
- The specific gun and ammunition you qualify with is what you must carry while working.
- All range fees and targets are included in the class.
- You must already have a CT Pistol Permit
- You will need 100 rounds of practice ammo and 60 rounds of the ammo you plan on carrying while working to qualify.
- $140 (if you attend the BEA class with PAC-N Certifications, if not, $180)
Gold Card Re-certification Course
The State of Connecticut requires that you attend a 4 hour re-certification class and qualify each year in order to keep your Gold Card certification.
- Preregistration is required
- The specific gun and ammunition you qualify with is what you must carry while working.
- All range fees and targets are included in the class.
- You must already have a CT Pistol Permit
- You will need 100 rounds of practice ammo and 60 rounds of the ammo you plan on carrying while working to qualify.
- $90
