Guard Card (Unarmed Security Officer) Course
This class held once a month. The class includes the first aid portion and is 8 hours long. This class is also needed in order to obtain the Blue Card (Armed Security Officer) certification.

Blue Card (Armed Security Officer) Course
This class is held once a month. This class is required in order to become an armed security officer. This class is 8 hours long.

- The specific gun and ammunition you qualify with is what you must carry while working.
- All range fees and targets are included in the class.
- You must already have a CT Pistol Permit.
- You will need 100 rounds of practice ammo and 50 rounds of the ammo you plan on carrying while working to qualify.

Discount: If both the Guard Card and Blue Card are needed the price is $250 for both (2 separate days).
Blue Card Re-certification Course
The State of Connecticut requires that you attend a 4 hour re-certification and qualification each year in order to keep your Blue Card certification.
